Ahmed Bakr is a business executive with over 20 years of international experience, notably in the engineering and management sectors of Carrier Africa, John Crane, and Hoerbiger Service Egypt.

As Area Sales Manager at Carrier Africa, he played a key role in tripling sales volumes in regions such as Angola, Mozambique, and Reunion Island, achieving revenues exceeding 8M USD in 2007.

He then moved to John Crane, where he adeptly navigated challenging economic and political environments, tripling revenues and profitability by adopting effective pricing strategies and implementing successful business development solutions. His efforts expanded the company’s market share across Egypt and enhanced its presence in African markets including Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Sudan through strategic partnerships and distributor networks.

From 2017 to 2019, Ahmed served as General Manager at Hoerbiger Service Egypt, where he was recognized for driving financial growth and managing complex operations. His appointment as Chief Operating Officer at Drakkar reflects his extensive experience, strategic insight, and diverse skill set, positioning him to lead organizations towards operational excellence and market leadership.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University.
